Study Rooms

The Terry Campus Library has 7 study rooms available for Delaware Tech students, faculty, and staff use. There are 2 rooms with space for 5 people,1 room with space for 8 people, and 4 rooms for 1-2 people to use. Reservations can be made in the Learning Commons/Library and by phone (302-857-1060). 

The rooms are located on the library side (in the back) of the Learning Commons.

Rooms are available to reserve at 2-hour intervals. After 2 hours if more time is needed and no one is waiting or has a reservation another 2 hours can be given. See a staff member if you'd like another 2 hours.

  • Priority is given to groups of three or more for the largest group room.
  • Check in at the circulation desk at the time of reservation and a staff member will provide access to your reserved room.
  • You will need a valid DTCC student ID at the time of check-in.

Reservations are not needed. Walk-ins are welcome.

The Georgetown (Owens) Campus Library has 1 group study room available for Delaware Tech students, faculty, and staff to reserve. Reservations can be made here. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the library.  There is an elevator available for accessibility.

  • Room is able to be reserved for up to 4 hours each day (2 hour limit per booking. May be re-booked if no one else is waiting). See a staff member if you'd like more than 4 hours.
  • Priority is given to groups of three or more for the group room.
  • Check in at circulation desk at time of reservation and a staff member will provide access to your reserved room.
  • You will need a valid DTCC student ID at time of check in.

4 other individual study rooms are available on first come first served basis--no reservations. See library staff at the circulation desk for access. You will need a valid DTCC student ID.

 

1 large study room that can accommodate 3 study groups of up to 6 people each.  There are 3 study tables, each with an erase board.  Two tables have a large wall computer screen, that can reflect the laptop for groupwork projects.  Reservations are required.  Please rsvp in person or via phone call (302-453-3716).

 

 

The George (Wilmington) Campus Learning Commons has 6 rooms available for DelTech students, faculty, and staff to use as group study rooms or online class space. The rooms are located around the perimeter of the Learning Commons. Reservations can be made here.

  • Rooms are reservable for up to 4 hours each day (2 hour limit per booking. May be re-booked if no one else is waiting). See a staff member if you'd like more than 4 hours.
  • Priority is given to groups of two or more.
  • Individual study carrels are available in Quiet Study Room 122. The carrels do not need to be reserved and include power and USB ports.
