Delaware Tech Libraries

Libraries FAQs

Yes! There are professional, master's-degree-holding librarians at all four campuses who can help you with research in any subject.

As a Delaware Tech student, you have access to respected, high quality online databases that will provide you with the latest information in your field of study.  Library databases to which you have access are listed under the Library tab found in the Student Success Toolbox at my.dtcc.edu

Each campus library has a collection of print books, ebooks and journals, as well as additional relevant materials that support its educational programs (e.g. children's books, graphing calculators, engineering tools, DVDs, etc.).  Laptops and tablets are also available.

Most materials check out for 3 weeks, but an item can be renewed* as long as another patron is not waiting for it. Renewals may be made in person, by phone, or online. Online renewals are done in the My Account function in the Delaware Library Catalog. You will need to know your 700# and PIN to login to your account. If you have any questions or problems, visit your campus library for assistance.

Specialized reserve materials usually circulate for shorter periods of time, such as two hours, and some can be used in the library only.

*Circulating materials renew twice automatically before the due date, provided they are not on hold for another patron.

To request books not available in the Delaware Library Catalog OR to request articles not available as full-text in the library databases use the electronic form available here:
